PodCamp Toronto

PodCamp Toronto is Canada’s largest and longest-running two-day digital media unconference. It’s an exciting in-person, full-weekend event that’s open to attendees from Canada, as well as from anywhere around the world!
It’s a free, two-day “unconference” that’s all about sharing knowledge and passion for digital media.
This unconference is for everyone – from the brand-new podcasting hobbyists to seasoned digital marketers. All are welcome and all will find the vast array of discussion topics valuable.
NOTE: While the main events take place at Toronto’s Metropolitan University’s Rogers Communications, the Imperial Club is set to host an unofficial meet-up of our podcasting community on the eve of PodCamp.

On Air Fest

On Air Fest is a premier cultural event for audio creatives and inspired listeners. One of the many things that sets On Air Fest is that it has created a unique place to showcase the artists and the storytellers who are defining this moment in audio.
In 2024, On Air Fest will be hosted in multiple spaces in the Wythe Hotel. The event includes special programming, parties, and networking events, the presentation of the annual Audio Vanguard Award, and so much more.

iHeart Podcast Awards

Okay, so technically, the iHeart Podcast Awards falls under the “Podcast Awards” category, but the iHeart Podcast Awards is a really great podcast event!
It’s a fun, star-studded awards show that makes for some seriously great viewing. Our idea of a “podcast event”!
Fans can tune in to watch this year’s iHeartPodcast Awards via a video stream in partnership with YouTube on iHeartRadio’s YouTube channel.

Evolutions is the newer event concept from the team behind the famous Podcast Movement (that event will feature on Part 2 of our list, coming out later in the year). Evolutions focuses on an in-depth look at the latest podcasting trends, tech, and developments in the ever-changing landscape of the industry. It’s also a much more focused experience for the attendees. The event has been divided into three distinct tracks Podcaster, Industry Pro, and Beginner. Each track is carefully curated to be a well-rounded offering of discussions covering the spectrum of podcasting.
There are always valuable networking opportunities and a great line-up of keynote speakers. There is also a super cool expo floor well as several social events and fun-filled parties!
